Career Wardrobe offers professional development certificate

Career Wardrobe has been serving women in the Philadelphia region since 1995 and in that time, they have expanded their programs to meet the needs of a rapidly diverse and changing work environment.

Their new Professional Development Certificate provides the skills needed in today’s job market to those looking to enhance their job skills.

Earning the Professional Development Certificate is simple. Participants start by attending a Blitz Basics workshop, offered the second Wednesday of every month. The workshop delves into the do’s and don’ts of resume writing, cover letters and interviewing skills and etiquette. Participants come with their own resume for one-on-one critique.

The next step is to attend the Gateway to Success workshops, offered as a half-day day course spanning four days, or in individual workshops throughout the year. These diverse workshops examine topics like Time Management and Interview Skills, Networking and Professional Etiquette, Employer Expectations, Difficult Conversations, and Technology, Public Speaking and Financial Literacy.

All programs are free of charge to both men and women and a calendar of workshops and how to sign-up can be found here.
