Philadelphia Professional Development Center Assistant

The MCOL Philadelphia Professional Development Center (PPDC) Assistant works with the PPDC Coordinator to maintain ongoing communications with local agencies about PDC activities and in organizing and coordinating professional development activities as directed by state initiatives; assists in organizing and coordinating professional development activities as directed by regional needs and works with the PPDC trainers in preparing materials for upcoming trainings and supporting the trainer in classroom set up, equipment needs and necessary paperwork; assists in the creation of course outlines for submission of course descriptions to e-campus and in confirmation of the calendar of events for the PPDC; participates in all team and full staff activities as an active and supportive staff/team member; and in other MCOL activities; provides office support as needed.

This is a part time position (twenty-five hours per week). It requires experience in working with databases and spreadsheets and the ability to work well in team situations. Have a willingness to work a flexible schedule; must have valid PA driver?s license; Bachelor?s Degree preferred. Applicants must be Philadelphia residents or be willing to move to Philadelphia after being hired.
