50 years is no ordinary anniversary, it is half a century of service. We invite you to join us and partake in the festivities as we commemorate this monumental occasion with a wonderful gala event. There will be fun, dinner, and prizes, accompanied by an extravagant silent auction. The event will be held at the Waterworks Engine house which is located on Waterworks Drive off of Kelly Drive. Come join us and share in the memories.

Philadelphia Cooperative Extension

Penn State Cooperative Extension in Philadelphia is one of 67 partnerships between the University and the host counties, offering a variety of educational programs. These include:

* 4-H/Youth which reaches more than 7,000 Philadelphia youth with embryology, equine leadership skills, environmental issues, and workforce readiness.
* Horticulture provides educational programs in horticulture to youth and their families.
* Nutrition Links Program teaches nutrition to people from community centers, substance abuse programs, and homeless shelters.
* Welfare to Work Programs that include Food Handlers and Pest Control Operators certification.
