Pathways to Progress: Forging Strategies to Broaden Impact
Posted by Equal Measure on December 5, 2016
Equal Measure issued an update on the Citi Foundation’s Pathways to Progress initiative, a three-year, $50-million effort to help 100,000 low-income youth to develop the workplace skills and leadership experience necessary to compete in a 21st-century economy. The issue brief discusses how the program’s five grantees are growing to reach more students through opening new locations and creating partnerships with other nonprofits in additional cities. Further growth strategies include adding online programming, providing technical assistance to other organizations, and advocating for changes in policies and practices for students.
