PA STEM Ecosystem VISTA

The STEMcityPHL Regional Network, in partnership with the Afterschool Alliance and the STEM Funders Network, is embarking on exciting work to expand the amount of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education opportunities offered in informal learning spaces. To increase these types of opportunities for children and youth, better coordination, increased partnerships and additional funding are all necessary. The STEMcityPHL Regional Network VISTAs will cultivate cross-sector partnerships, inventory professional development offerings and develop new materials where gaps exist and conduct evaluations do determine the impact and reach of the ecosystem. The STEMcityPHL Regional Network is a new civic campaign to build collective public will for STEM learning for the 21st century economy.
