Covenant House Pennsylvania has an immediate opening for an Outreach Worker to conduct street outreach in all areas of the City with a high concentration of homeless and at risk youth. This involves identifying youth and providing services such as food, clothing , shelter and referral services.
Candidate should be familiar with case management, record documentation, conflict resolution and crisis intervention techniques. Weekends and nights are part of the basic work schedule. Individual must be able to communicate effectively with a diverse population and have knowledge of current issues facing youth. Undergraduate degree is a plus. Must have valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
