Organize for affordable health care and affordable housing in working class suburban New Jersey. The role of the Political Organizer is to build permanent, progressive grassroots networks. You will be responsible for organizing town hall meetings, press events, and grassroots lobbying to win on the issues! During the upcoming Midterm elections, you will use that network to get out the vote!
ACORN provides an ideal work setting for those committed to fighting for civil rights issues. The hours can be long, the campaigns can be exhausting, but the end results are ALWAYS worth it.
