New Programs for Nonprofit Leaders

LaSalle Nonprofit Center forming emerging leaders groups
The LaSalle Nonprofit Center is offering two opportunities for the development of future leaders, currently in management positions, who report to the executive director of their agencies.
The first is the Emerging Leaders CLEAR Circle, for up to eight men and women, with limited partial subsidies available to nonprofit organizations of interest to the William Penn Foundation.
The second is called Empowering Emerging Women Leaders of Nonprofits Serving Women and Girls, for up to eight women in area nonprofit programs that primarily serve females, with partial subsidies from the Valentine Foundation.
LaSalle believes that current and future nonprofit leaders are among the top two resources (after funding, of course) that agencies depend on to fulfill their missions. The best way to ensure an organization’s future is to create a legacy of leadership by fostering its future leaders.
Members of these groups participate once a month for eight months in a CLEAR Circle of their peers, led by a trained facilitator, that will help empower them with the insight, confidence and problem-solving skills that will serve both them and their organizations.
