National Society for Experiential Education conference

Posted by on August 22, 2003

I am writing to notify you of the upcoming National Society for Experiential Education (NSEE) conference in Minneapolis, Oct 15-18, 2003. A number of people I wrote to last time asked to be reminded when attorney Michael Goldstein will be holding his next workshop on Legal Issues in Experiential Education. That will be on Wednesday, Oct. 15 as part of the series of pre-conference workshops that include:

  • Legal Issues of Internships and Experiential Learning
  • Fundamentals of Theory and Best Practice in Experiential Education
  • Reflection: The Key to Making Sense of Experience
  • Experiential Education Beyond the Basics: A Nuts ‘N’ Bolts for Intermediate and Advanced Practitioners
  • West Side of St. Paul: An Offsite Experience

As a promotion for those who register for the conference by August 29, NSEE will randomly choose 5 registrants to receive a free pre-conference registration of their choice. The pre-conferences are a great way especially for newcomers in the profession to learn about the most recent trends and practices. Hope to see you or a representative from your institution there.

For registration and more information, please visit the NSEE website at http://www.nsee.org

    Sincerely,
    Gene Alpert
    President, NSEE
