National AmeriCorps Week Grants Now Available!
AmeriCorps Alums is proud to announce the release of our Grant Application for National AmeriCorps Week 2010! Get more information and the application here or just click on the National AmeriCorps Week link from our homepage.

Things to note:
* Award funds: We have five (5) grants that are $1000 each
* Deadline: March 15, 2010 at 5pm EST – this is so that we can get you a check ASAP
* Fiscal Agent Paperwork (Section IV): Do this NOW! As suggested, find a nonprofit you are close to that will act as your fiscal agent and get them to do the paperwork right away. We have to have this to give you the money.
I am really excited to see your proposals and help you achieve your goals! Remember, even if you do not get one of the five grants we’ll be sending a care package with AmeriCorps Alums give-aways to all chapters that apply, so… go for it!
