About the Movement Media Institute
Media Mobilizing Project is holding it’s Spring Movement Media Institute in two months – May 29-31. We’d love to have you and/or members of your organization to be a part of it. The Institute is an intensive, information filled weekend offering important media skills and strategy to strengthen organizing work and connecting participants to others involved in a variety of struggles going on in our region. Our goals are to strengthen struggles, unite leaders and grow our networks of support, and build the movement for justice in our communities!
We are asking all interested folks to fill out an informal application. Please return applications asap. There is a sliding scaled for registration ($15 – $75). However, we don’t want funds to be an obstacle to participation. We will work with whatever is possible for each participant. Meals are provided. Spanish interpretation and childcare may be available on request.
