Join us as we reimagine our poetry as animals, fairy tale characters, cartoon characters and ordinary objects. Together, we’ll write in voices that are not our own. Then, we’ll speak fearlessly in our own voices, with new understanding.

Hip-hop Graphic Novels
Ages: 12 – 18
Join artist, producer & founder of the hip-hop animation “The Sure Shot” for an introduction to graphic novels. Learn animation techniques and write your own graphic novel inspired by your life! (Professional musician available for an additional fee.)
