Middle School FREE Writing Program: “Academy”
September 10th-June 10th
Grades: 6-8
Let your voice be heard! We’re all about leadership and building community. Get ready to focus on informative, persuasive, narrative, poetry writing and open real-talk conversations. Participants are in grades 6-8.
Teen Scholars
September 11th- June 10th
Meeting Days: Every Tuesday and Thursday
Time: 4PM-6PM
Grades: 9-12
Teens gain an understanding of complex challenges the community and society faces through open discussions and writing. Teens share innovative & creative ideas and build meaningful relationships with other teens. Participants are in grades 9-12.
Creative Scholars
September 13th- June 10th
Meeting Days: Every Thursday
Time: 3:30PM-6PM
Grades: 8-12
The power of expressing ourselves through words is magical. Explore and unleash your creativity as a writer. Express and see with a writer’s eyes, bring ideas to life, gain confidence, and experiment with poetry, creative fiction and nonfiction.
