Mental Health First Aid Workshop and Certification

Groups offer free training in mental health first aid
Pennsylvania State Senator Vincent Hughes, in partnership with the Philadelphia Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and the Black Women’s Health Alliance will sponsor a free Mental Health First Aid Workshop and Certification on Saturday, December 13, where participants can learn the skills to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders.
The event will feature trainer Malik Gray from the Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disability Services.
