The World Affairs Council of Philadelphia is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic nonprofit membership professional to join its Development & Membership team in the role of Membership Manager. The Membership Manager will steward the Council’s +70-year legacy as a premier global educator in Philadelphia while using creative tools to cultivate and maintain a diverse and dynamic membership base.
The Membership Manager is responsible for all activities related to the growth and management of the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia’s membership programs, which includes individual, corporate, partners, and schools. In this role, the Manager cultivates and stewards relationships with the Council’s diverse membership base and corporate partners; develops and implements retention and growth strategies to expand membership and enhance the membership experience; and serves as an important representative of the Council and its mission of bringing international affairs education to the Philadelphia region. This position is overseen by the Vice President of Development & Membership.
