Marketing Manager, Theatre Philadelphia

Theatre Philadelphia, our region’s leadership and marketing organization for theatre, seeks a Marketing Manager to oversee content creation, social media, and earned revenue.

The Marketing Manager will play an integral role in Theatre Philadelphia’s mission to celebrate and promote theatre. The role includes planning, maintenance, and execution of content across digital platforms; identifying, monitoring, and reporting on relevant analytics; collaborating with digital marketing consultants on advertising campaigns; implementing an earned revenue strategy of paid advertising and events; and packaging activities across our sector for special promotions.

This position reports directly to the Executive Director, and works alongside a volunteer marketing committee and the company’s Program Assistant. The ideal candidate has a passionate interest in our theatre community; has strong writing skills adaptable to multiple channels; strong verbal communication and sales skills; and loves balancing collaboration with focused project work. Eye for or experience in photography and video a plus.

This is a part-time position at 20-25 hours per week, with a flexible schedule and a competitive pay rate. Creative paths to enter the marketing or arts field most welcome.
