Position Title:Client Service Coordinator,Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR)
Employment Category:Full Time
Reports To:Manger of Nutrition & Client Services

General Description:
The Dietetic Technician, participates in the nutrition screening of MANNA’s clients and is responsible for coordinating the delivery of appropriate and timely nutritional services through home delivered meals and/or nutritional counseling to individuals at acute nutritional risk with a life threatening illness.

Specific duties include:

  • Receive and promptly process client referral forms
  • Receive and process calls and correspondence from potential and existing clients, medical providers, and support staff
  • Maintaining client records (computer and hard copy)
  • Participate in the recertification of existing clients for meal delivery.
  • Coordinate referrals for nutritional assessments, education, counseling, and other social service needs for clients
  • Assist with nutrition screens, education, counseling, and BIA testing services at MANNA and or other clinics or community settings.
  • Participate in the quality assurance initiatives and client satisfaction survey processes.
  • Protect client confidentiality
  • Supervise interns, students, and volunteers as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR) as credentialed by the Commission of Dietetic Registration.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Must be well organized, able to think for oneself, and able to work with very diverse populations.  Valid driver’s license. Fluency in Spanish is desirable but not required.
