Job Volunteer/Service Learning Opportunties Available.
The Village of Arts and Humanities is a non-profit organization located in North Philadelphia that is dedicated to Neighborhood Revitalization through the arts. This organization serves over ten thousand low income, primarily African American youth and families each year, impacting several neighborhoods within a 260 square block area of North Philadelphia. We offer programs in art, drawing, clay, visual arts, performing arts, mentoring, tutoring, work skills, conflict resolution, and field trips. We also have special events and projects such as mural paintings and abandoned lot restoration.
