Let’s Get Ready – College Transition Coach

Let’s Get Ready is looking for college students who are passionate about mentoring for the role of Transition Coach.Transition Coaches mentor current high school seniors (using text/phone) as they navigate the college application process. The ideal candidate will be a Junior or Senior in college, in good academic standing, who possesses strong communication and leadership skills. The role has flexible work hours, opportunities for professional development, and will give students the chance to foster connections with near-peers.

A Transition Coach works remotely to provide text, phone, and email support to a cohort of current high school seniors as they apply to college and make the important decision about where to attend school. Our near-peer Transition Coaches build relationships with their students and provide mentorship, encouragement, targeted resources, and help staying on track with the many steps in the college application process.
