Philadelphia FIGHT Community Health Centers (FIGHT) is a comprehensive health services organization providing primary care, consumer education, research, and advocacy for people living with HIV/AIDS and those at high risk. This position is in FIGHT’s Education and Training Department, which offers a wide range of educational, psychosocial, and risk-reduction programming for youth and adults living with HIV, those at high risk, and the general community at large.

The Critical Path Learning Center (CPLC) is an educational commons and stigma-free space devoted to the intersection of health and literacy for the digital age that nurtures life-long learning through meaningful, relevant, non-judgmental education and resources for all people in our community, including people living with HIV, hepatitis C, and other chronic health conditions. Our core programs include a health resources library, technology access and training, adult education, employment resources, and hospitality services.

Tasks and Responsibilities
The Learning Commons Supervisor will oversee the public access space of the Critical Path Learning Center (CPLC) including providing an empowering and stigma-free space for the community, ensuring all participants have access to the resources they need including, but not limited to: case management, library collection materials, computer access, information requests (in person, by phone, online, by mail), and public programs. They will work closely with the Adult Education Supervisor and Employment Services Supervisor to ensure consistency and quality across all Learning Center programs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public services and community health librarianship and experience working with social workers to meet the complex needs of library patrons and adult learners. They will thrive in fast-paced community settings and provide strong leadership for a diverse team of other librarians and support service providers.
