Learning Beyond the Classroom: A Service-Learning and Community Based Research Workshop for Faculty Course Development

May 26, 2017, 9:00 am – 2:30 pm

at Dickinson College

Co-hosted by Dickinson College, Shippensburg University, and Wilson College with a regional mini-grant from PA Campus Compact

This workshop offers faculty and staff to explore how to weave service-learning and/or community-based research into a course drawing on rigorous best practices for student learning and democratic community partnerships. Both experienced faculty and seasoned community partners will serve on panels to set the stage for discussion and idea-sharing among participants.
