Invitational Summer Institute on Writing and Literacy
Posted by University of Pennsylvania on April 18, 2016
Since 1986, the Philadelphia Writing Project has sponsored an Invitational Summer Institute on Writing and Literacy for K-16 educators in the Philadelphia region. The institute engages teachers in a dynamic environment that employs inquiry-based processes to support growth and learning for all participants. Teachers explore their teaching beliefs, multiple forms of literacy, and the practice of writing as a way of making meaning. The institute is grounded in the core beliefs that have influenced Philadelphia Writing Project Teacher Consultants for more than 25 years.
