International Walk to School Day

Registration opens for Walk to School Day
Registration is now open for International Walk to School Day, to be held on Wednesday, October 6th.
This international event encourages communities from over 40 countries to join together to walk and bicycle to school to improve student health, protect the environment, and create safer routes to school.
Registration is free and available to individuals and organizations holding a 2010 Walk to School event.
US events registered on the Walk to School Web site will be displayed on an interactive map, where neighboring communities, media and other organizations can identify participants in their region.
