Intern, Delaware Valley Earth Force

Posted by on April 16, 2007

Delaware Valley Earth Force is looking for a creative, self motivated intern to design the layout for our 2006-2007 Yearbook. Earth Force is a national non-profit organization that engages young people as active citizens who improve the environment and their communities now and in the future. We do so by training and supporting educators in our Community Action Problem Solving Program and in project-based learning. CAPS enables young people to incorporate academic knowledge, citizenship skills, and youth choice in order to lead community action projects focused on creating sustainable solutions to local environment issues. The purpose of the Yearbook is to document and highlight each project, as well as act as an annual report. We are looking for a college intern with an artistic eye and a hand for design to help us meet those goals.

The intern will work on a team to develop the layout and design of this year?s Yearbook. The ideal candidate should have a background in the arts, design and/related fields and be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite 2 applications including: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe ImageReady. Please forward cover letters and resumes to c.contri@verizon.net or fax to 215-884-9888.

Pay: $15 per hour
Internship Dates: Mid-May to Late June
Estimated total work hours: 40-50
