POSITION:     Interim Director of the Wolfington Center, Cabrini College
REPORTS TO:    Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs
DEPARTMENT:    Academic Affairs
START/END DATE:  Start as soon as Possible, End approximately July 1, 2012
SALARY RANGE:  $55,000-$65,000

The Interim Director of the Wolfington Center will oversee the day-to-day management of the Center with a particular emphasis on ensuring the continuation of current programs, partnerships and activities and providing leadership to the current staff.

Interim Director duties include supporting, rewarding and retaining effective staff.  Provide stewardship of financial resources in managing departmental budget with strict attention to effective use of financial and material resources. Offer leadership planning in implementing the annual College wide goals and strategic plan of the College.

The Interim Director will coordinate all issues involved in the Wolfington Center support of Justice Matters, including transportation and necessary resources for faculty. The Interim Director will work with the Dean of Academic Affairs and faculty leaders on community engagement issues in the Justice Matters curriculum.  He/she will oversee the implementation and maintenance of key current domestic and international partnerships related to the curriculum, particularly with Catholic Relief Services, and the Municipality of Norristown, and will support the College’s partnership with the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. In addition, the Interim Director will support the CRS Ambassadors and other staff that are concentrating on the international programs.

Knowledge, skills and abilities include: demonstrated strong supervisory, organizational and time management skills; ability to work collaboratively with internal and external constituents; excellent communications skills and knowledge of strategic and tactical planning required. Familiarity with Catholic Social Teaching preferred.  Masters Degree.required. Doctoral degree preferred.  Experience with community partnerships, community engagement, and international education is recommended.
