Description: This is a 5 month long program in which Mural Arts Program collaborates with the Philadelphia Electrical and Technology Charter School.

Overview of Position:
Teach art class Monday to Friday, 10 to 11:30, September to January, exact dates TBA. Work with art teacher at PET, class of 25 students. Create curriculum and lesson plans in collaboration with PET art teacher. Engage students in creating individual art pieces and in developing themes and painting a mural with student input. Submit weekly reports to Mural Arts Program.

Qualifications:
*Strong leadership skills
*Mural design and painting experience
*Degree in art or art education preferred
*Prior teaching experience
*Ability to manage a classroom of 25 students
*Committed to working with city youth
*Strong organizational and time-management skills
