Setting a Global Research Agenda, the Next Ten Years – Monday, October 21, 2019, 1-4 PM, the University of New Mexico

If you are going to be in New Mexico in October for Imagining America’s 20th Anniversary National Gathering or IARSLCE’s Annual Research Conference, please consider attending one of the three sessions below. All are welcome!

The International Association for Research on Service-Learning & Community Engagement invites you to contribute as we set the agenda for advancing the study and practice of service-learning and community engagement. IARSLCE will be hosting three sessions during our Annual Research Conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Oct. 23-25.

This international agenda will articulate the key issues, research questions, methodological approaches, research challenges that will shape the field in the coming years. The agenda will advance knowledge and understanding of service-learning and community engagement across the educational spectrum and across national, cultural, and disciplinary contexts.

This effort is part of the International Association for Research on Service-Learning and Community Engagement’s (IARSLCE’s) effort to ensure that the future research in the field reflects the diverse and evolving interests and perspectives of scholars, practitioners, collaborators, and supporters of service-learning and community engagement from across the globe.

Who Should Attend?

  • Scholars, practitioners, collaborators, and supporters of service-learning and community engagement from across the globe.
  • K12 and higher education, community organizations, students, staff, administrators/leaders.
