Philadelphia LawWorks, Pfizer, and DLA Piper LLP are co-sponsoring a free seminar on how to make the most out of the Board-staff relationship on October 18th from 10:30am to 3:30pm.
This seminar will focus on establishing a well functioning Board with a good understanding of its role in nonprofit governance, providing leadership, resources, and expertise to the management of the organization. Topics covered include the basic roles and responsibilities of Board and staff, financial reporting and responsibilities of Board and staff, and nonprofit governance.
The seminar is designed for executive directors, Board members, finance directors and other management that regularly works with the Board of Directors.
