Help register low-income voters

Posted by on July 6, 2008

Project H.O.M.E. is seeking volunteers to help register low-income voters and to support its residents working in the new H.O.M.E. Page Café at the Free Library of Philadelphia.

The group’s Vote for Homes! Project seeks out low-income workers, including those who are homeless, living with disabilities or ex-offenders, and helps them register to vote. To learn more about upcoming trainings in August and September, visit this webpage (http://www.projecthome.org/advocacy/news.php?id=90) or contact Jennine Miller at 215-232-7272 x3042 or by email (jenninemiller@projecthome.org).

Volunteers are also needed to serve as mentors to residents working in the new H.O.M.E. Page Café at the Free Library of Philadelphia as they work toward education and employment goals. Contact Erin O’Brien at 215-232-7272 x3015 or by email (erinobrien@projecthome.org) for details.
