Health fair and fitness program planned
Heart Healthy Philadelphia will hold a free health fair at Dilworth Plaza at Philadelphia City Hall on Thursday, October 8th.
Participants will have the opportunity to be screened for five indicators of heart disease and see cooking and fitness demos. The fair takes place from 8am-3pm. To register, click here.

Heart Healthy Philadelphia is also working with fitness clubs throughout the area to help residents improve their fitness as part of a commitment to live a more heart healthy lifestyle. A six-week program launches October 12th and offers participants the chance to win all types of prizes including home fitness equipment from Leisure Fitness, electronics from Best Buy, fitness club memberships and six months of free cell phone service from Cricket Communications.
