World Hunger Year (WHY) is happy to announce the release of the 2007 Harry Chapin Self Reliance Award applications. The Harry Chapin Self-Reliance Awards program distributes cash grants ($5,000 maximum award) to outstanding grassroots organizations for their innovative and creative approaches to fighting domestic hunger and poverty by empowering people and building self-reliance.
