Philadelphia Futures is a nonprofit organization with a mission to provide low-income, first-generation-to-college students with the tools, resources and opportunities necessary for admission to and success in college. Philadelphia Futures is seeking to retain the services of an experienced grant writer to augment its development staff.
This is a new position. The length of the assignment and the hours per week for the position shall be determined by the agreement of Philadelphia Futures and the successful candidate. The grant writer shall assist with the preparation of proposals for foundation and corporate support, acknowledging gifts, and completing donor reports.
The successful candidate for this position will have significant experience in writing complex proposals and reports and will have the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. The terms of the engagement will be very flexible to meet the organization’s immediate need.
