CALL FOR PROPOSALS

The Global Environmental Sustainability Action Coalition (GESAC) invites you to learn and teach with us, as we empower the CCSU community and citizens of the world through a conversation about what we can-must- do to ensure that our children and grandchildren will realize a life that is just, prosperous, healthy and in harmony with our one and only home, Earth.

GESAC seeks proposals for presentations, workshops, panels, performances, illustrated papers/posters and abstracts for the first conference proceedings that focus on the global transition to a greener economy by redefining the American economy from one of development towards one of sustainability.

Conference Theme: A Green Economy for a Sustainable Future

Proposals should be related, but not limited, to the following:

* Redefining traditional concepts of jobs, training and education
* Environmental entrepreneurial enterprises and opportunities
* Tax incentives for home, business and community
* Local, state and federal policy regarding green economics

Deadline: Friday, October 2nd at 4:00 PM EST to gesac.ccsu@gmail.com.

All proposals must be submitted via e-mail, using the Proposal Worksheet.
Incomplete submissions will not be considered. This form can also be found at http://www.ccsu.edu/gesac/symposium2010.htm.
