Girls on the Run Philadelphia seeks board members

Girls on the Run Philadelphia inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident through an afterschool program that uses a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates
running.
The board is seeking volunteers to join its board of directors. We have 5 openings available.
Specifically, we are in need of individuals with the following skill sets:
• a fundraising/development background;
• a grant writing background;
• legal background; and/or
• finance background
We are particularly interested in candidates who will contribute to the Board’s overall diversity
and who live or work in Philadelphia.
All are welcome to apply. Interested individuals must be available for board meetings, willing to
serve on one committee and dedicated to at least 4 hours per month in board service.
