Position/Job Title: Director, Fundraising Training, Center for Responsible Funding
Location: 924 Cherry Street, Suite 520, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Supervisor: Carole Boughter, Executive Director
Date: April 22, 2003

The Center for Responsible Funding (CRF) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to expand the fundraising capacity and funding base of nonprofit organizations working for social and economic justice.

Summary: 3/4 time position with prospect of full-time, providing administrative and program support for the Center?s Academy For Fundraising Training (TAFFT).

Responsibilities:
? Manage training programs for individual nonprofit organizations, including Securing Assets For Grassroots Empowerment (SAGE), Partnering for Permanence, and Money for the Movement, as well as any new training programs which CRF/TAFFT shall develop
? Conduct ongoing evaluations of all CRF/TAFFT training programs and participate in the creation of evaluation tools
? Market all current and prospective TAFFT programs
? Reach out to constituent organizations by sponsoring events, forums, workshops, etc.
? Market TAFFT through brochure, event/forum flyers, e-News, newsletter, etc.
? Create, implement, and facilitate events/forums on fundraising topics for grassroots and social change nonprofits
? Facilitate coalition building and other opportunities through the SAGE process
? Report and distribute research that pertains to philanthropic social change and trends in giving
? Provide fundraising training to workplace campaigns in which CRF is involved
? Work with Executive Director to manage Money for the Movement trainers/trainings
? Collaborate with CRF staff in TAFFT-related work

Requirements:
? Bachelors degree is preferred plus three to five years of relevant work experience. Life experiences may substitute for stated educational requirements.
? Must be responsible, dependable, and work well with a variety of individuals and types of nonprofit organizations.
? Previous experience in organizing, advocacy, and/or fundraising training is a plus.

Salary commensurate with experience. Benefits are pro-rated.
