Free assistance for struggling families
Posted by on August 17, 2009
July 7th – September 11th, 2009 – Get Help Now Pennsylvania will have 2,000 or more volunteers to help thousands of Pennsylvanians struggling in this economy. There will be 17 locations state-wide open to the public, free of charge Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. where lawyers and banking professionals throughout the commonwealth will provide free assistance, counseling and referrals. Citizens will receive up-to-date information about where to go for help with finance, credit and bankruptcy issues. The volunteers will not provide personal legal or banking advice, but they can refer citizens to an appropriate place for assistance.
