National Press Foundation Offers Four-Day Fellowships
on Retirement Issues

Deadline: April 7, 2006

The National Press Foundation ( http://www.nationalpress.org ), a nonprofit educational foundation, will present a four-day seminar for journalists on “Retirement Issues in the 21st Century,” to be held in Washington, D.C., May 21-24, 2006. Fifteen all-expenses-paid fellowships are available to qualified journalists.

The four-day program will look at retirement from both the personal and societal perspectives — from individuals’ financial planning, to the way retirement is changing the world, to the way the world is changing retirement. The aim is to give journalists, especially those specializing in business and consumer issues, solid ground for future reporting across the spectrum of retirement issues.

Fellowships include airfare (to $600), hotel, and most meals.

Visit the National Press Foundation Web site for complete program information and application procedures.
