Responsible for recruitment, orientation, initial and ongoing training, and monitoring and support for foster and kinship parents. Individual must ensure full compliance with County, State, and agency requirements and licensing, and nurturing parenting for foster children. Individual is on-call as needed for new placements and emergencies. High degree of accountability required for this position. Coordinator must have a master’s or bachelor’s degree in social work or a related human services field, strong child development and/or parenting knowledge and skills. Individual must be proficient in both English and Spanish.
