Family Empowerment Program (FEP)

Posted by UESF on October 6, 2020

UESF has been in operation for over 35 years, our focus has always been to provide services to Philadelphia residents to keep them stable in housing.  The Family Empowerment Program (FEP) focuses on families of those who have school aged children in K-12th grade, who are looking to stabilize their housing.  Of course it can be done in different ways as every family is not faced with the same situation.  These families are partnered with a Family Advocate that works with them on budgeting, goal setting and planning.  Then holding them accountable and providing positive counseling to help them achieve their goals.  There is some financial assistance provided as needed.
