WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
– Faith Leaders
– Community Organizations
– Faith-Based Organizations
– Behavioral Health Provider Agencies

CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES:
– Discover the benefits of honoring people’s ability to define faith, family and community.
– Identify at least one specific connection between faith/spirituality and wellness.
– Discuss youth models and initiatives that promote resilience and develop protective factors.
– Identify several faith-based resources offering valuable assistance to people in the community.
– List several faith communities in Philadelphia supportive of persons with behavioral health concerns.
– Identify successful models of diverse faith and behavioral health partnerships serving the needs of our community.

CREDITS:
PCB (PA Certified Addiction Counselor): CAC
BHTEN will award a maximum of 6.0 PCB Approved hours of Education for this training. BHTEN is certified by the Pennsylvania Certification Board, Provider #610.
Social Workers: SW
This conference is co-sponsored by the National Association of Black Social Workers, Philadelphia Chapter, a pre-approved provider of professional continuing education for social workers under section 47.36 by the state board of Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapists and Professional Counselors.
Mental Health Professionals: CEU
BHTEN will award a maximum of 0.6 CEU (1 CEU= 10 contact hours) for the conference participants who are attending the full conference. BHTEN uses the standards and guidelines outlined by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET).
Intermediate to Advanced: Completion requires full attendance, participation and the submission of a course evaluation at the end of the workshop.
