Fair Care 101: My House is Someone’s Workplace

Posted on April 9, 2018

The organization Hand in Hand is offering an online session twice on April 11th to support employers in doing what’s right by the people who work in their homes. If you employ a house cleaner, nanny or other caregiver in your home, check out the valuable tips and learn some simple things you can do to support anyone who works in your home and build the best possible relationship you can. You can sign up here.

Or check out the Facebook page for more background. It’s offered at 3 pm and 8:30 pm ET, so choose whatever time works for you.

Whether or not you’re able to make the webinar, if you’re interested in getting involved with improving working conditions for domestic workers in Philadelphia, contact Amy Cohen, who is working with employers to bring dignity and respect to the domestic worker workforce in our neighborhoods and city. You can find her at amy@domesticemployers.org.
