Entrepreneur Works (EW) is a non-profit microenterprise development organization focused on growing businesses and jobs in our local communities. Our mission is to cultivate and promote successful entrepreneurs in underserved areas of the Greater Philadelphia region – entrepreneurs who then become economic engines in their own neighborhoods. By connecting hundreds of entrepreneurs each year with access to capital, one-on-one technical assistance, business training and networking opportunities, Entrepreneur Works helps promising individuals to develop economic self-sufficiency and create job opportunities through business ownership.

Taste of Success is Entrepreneur Works’ signature annual fundraising event. EW knows how successful a microenterprise can be, and Taste of Success is a chance for us to showcase the culinary talents of our region’s entrepreneurs and business owners who have participated in EW’s programs. This year’s theme is “Down Home Comfort” — reflecting our mission to build and support “home-grown” local businesses.

This year’s 10th Annual Taste of Success will feature a dozen entrepreneurs competing for cash and other prizes in an exciting and delicious cook-off and bake-off contest, a silent auction, an open bar, and catered refreshments. And make sure to bring your appetite for taste-testing and the People’s Choice Award, where guests vote for their favorite dishes!

Proceeds from Taste of Success benefit local entrepreneurs and small businesses in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties, providing them access to the business development services and capital that are essential for entrepreneurs to succeed in our neighborhoods.
