Encountering Other Faiths Facilitator Training: Fall 2013

The Interfaith Center invites you to spend a day with “Encountering Other Faiths” author, Sr. Maria Hornung, learning how to facilitate interfaith dialogue in your congregation, community or organization. Participants will receive a copy of the book and related workbook outlining nine sessions on the art of interreligious engagement.

The training day itself is an experience of dialogue as diverse participants share stories, best practices and common challenges in the work of interfaith relations. A visit to the prayer space in the mosque where the training is held is a further opportunity for engagement and learning. Register today!

For: Congregational Leaders, Adult Education Coordinators, and Professionals with Interreligious Engagement Interests

Participants are encouraged to put the training to use in their own context, empowered with increased competence and confidence in facilitating members of their congregation or community to deepen their interfaith encounters.
