Posted by New Foundations Charter School on April 16, 2018
When: May 19, 2018 (Saturday) from 9am-1pm
Where: NFCS- 8001 Torresdale Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19136
What: The EdCamp New Foundations is being facilitated by our school’s Professional Learning Communities, since they have been working all year long to explore various inquiry pathways based on educational interests and professional development needs. In the spirit of Edcamp, which emphasizes an “unconference” approach, we hope to engage all educational professionals; educators, support staff, community members and advocates, in coming together to share, learn and discuss ideas, resources and strategies with one another.
Session themes include: special education, technology integration, family engagement, discipline and student engagement.
Why: It’s FREE…You receive light breakfast, lunch, resource kit and Act 48 credits, in addition to great learning experience from other education professions!
