Job description
The Boys & Girls Club of Camden County is seeking a dynamic Director of Development. This is an extraordinary opportunity for an experienced, detail oriented, ambitious and self-motivated fund raising executive to expand the fund raising infrastructure of a growing service organization.
The take-charge individual will greatly benefit from the knowledge of our management team and professional development opportunities.
Applicants should be familiar with all aspects of fund raising. The successful candidate will
– have documented experience in annual and planned giving; major gifts; corporate and foundation fundraising; and capital campaigns.
– 3-5 + years of proven fundraising experience (identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewardship)
– Experience with special events
– Successful track record of establishing and meeting goals and deadlines
– Management and administrative experience, including budgeting.
– Outstanding communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
– Knowledge of Results Plus or comparable database/donation programs.
– Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite
