Development Assistant, Maternity Care Coalition

Maternity Care Coalition (MCC), a dynamic nonprofit, seeks an enthusiastic individual to fill the position of Development Assistant in the Fund Development & Marketing (FDM) Department. This position will provide administrative support to the FDM team. The Assistant will manage charitable gifts processing, donor database management, donor acknowledgement letters, the FDM filing system and work with the Director on small grants submissions. The incumbent will also support the Director in analyzing our grants strategy and submitting monthly reports to the board and Leadership Team.   B.A. required, excellent writing and editing skills, superior organizational and time management skills, experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint and database systems strong interpersonal and communication skills;  some office experience required. Interest in social media is an asset. Additional skills in design software would also be helpful but not necessary.
