Herb Block Foundation Accepting Applications for Defending Basic Freedoms Program
Grants of up to $25,000 each will be awarded to U.S.-based nonprofits working to safeguard the freedoms guaranteed in the Bill of Rights, eliminate prejudice and discrimination, and help government agencies be more accountable to the public.
Deadline: October 10, 2009 (Letters of Inquiry)
