Philadelphia, PA: On Wednesday, May 21st from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Samuel S. Fleisher Art Memorial, grassroots activists and colleagues from the social justice community will gather to enjoy an evening of food and entertainment at the 15th annual Daisies for Justice Party. Please come out and enjoy an evening of savory hors d’oeuvres, wine and desserts (partially donated by the White Dog Cafe), and participate in the evening’s festivities, including a silent auction and music.

All proceeds from the fundraiser will support the Center for Responsible Funding (CRF). The mission of CRF is to expand the funding base of social and economic justice organizations. CRF accomplishes this by:
? Training grassroots organizations to increase their fundraising capacity through The Academy of Fundraising Training
? Promoting work-site combined charity campaigns, which allow umbrella organizations of all sizes to solicit in the workplace on an equal basis; CRF manages the City of Philadelphia Employees’ Combined Campaign, one of the most successful municipal campaigns in the country
? Networking on common problems; organizing for the Let America Speak Coalition

Come out and celebrate an evening of food, fun and the work of local social justice groups on May 21, 2003. For tickets and information, please contact the Center at (215) 925-6140. Price $50.00 per person. (Ticket scholarships are available for qualified individuals.) * If you bring a friend who is new to the Center, tickets are $25.00 a person for the two of you.

The Center for Responsible Funding’s Daisy Party is not affiliated with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia or with its Daisy Days.
