Content Reviewers, United Way Impact Grants

Posted by on September 02, 2013

United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey’s (UWGPSNJ) Impact Fund invests in region, driving real, measurable change in the communities where we live, work and play. United Way’s Impact Grant Funding Cycle is approaching and we need your help to ensure that it is a success!

United Way is looking for Content Review volunteers who have specific content knowledge of health and human service strategy areas and are trained to support United Way with their knowledge in the areas of Education, Income, Health and Basic Needs. Given your expertise in health and human services I am reaching out to you to ask if you are able to assist UWGPSNJ staff and Community Investment Volunteers in selecting grant recipients who demonstrate strong results in each of the key strategy areas.

We rely on diverse and dedicated volunteers who lend their time and talents to our Impact Fund investment process, providing objective insight and community analysis to ensure we select the most promising programs poised to deliver real results that drive local community change. As a volunteer led and run organization, United Way must ensure that there is a highly rigorous and transparent review process in every aspect of the process. If you are interested and able to assist us for this funding cycle, please fill out a Volunteer Application by visiting https://secure.uwsepa.org/FundingReviewer/

Thank you for thinking about volunteering your time and talent with us as we make these important decisions on behalf of our community.
