This one-day conference will address topics including:

  • develop a better understanding of the data available on projected future workforce needs;
  • learn ways to partner with local businesses to provide career readiness-related opportunities for their students; and
  • discover how to incorporate career advising into your program offerings.

What to Expect
A panel will address how strong relationships among business, postsecondary education, community-based organizations, and K-12 can ensure an effective pipeline for meeting future labor market needs and impact college and career success advising.

Dr. Mark Schneider from the American Institutes for Research/College Measures, will share information on the national-level tools and resources available to help access data for effective college and career counseling.

NCAN members, The Opportunity Network, along with a local NCAN member will guide attendees in how to incorporate career success programming into your access advising.

Who Should Attend?
If you are a college access and success advisor, data manager, director, program leader, or any other program or network staff interested in incorporating career advising into your work, we want you to be part of the conversation.
